Event recap: Labor Against ICE

Labor Against ICE

On January 13th,  the Center for Labor and Community hosted Labor Against ICE, which brought together workers, organizers, educators, health care providers, and community members to confront the realities of escalating immigration enforcement. Panelists and tabling organizations shared how labor is organizing to defend migrants on the job and in our communities.

Through powerful conversation and lived experience, panelists highlighted the human costs of workplace raids, the limits of legal challenges alone, and the critical role unions, rapid response networks, and community-based organizations play in protecting migrant communities through collective power. We’re grateful to our speakers, co-sponsors, tabling organizations, and everyone who showed up to be in community and stand together.
